Associates held the event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The sale included cookies, cupcakes, breads, homemade pies and more. Associates, families, residents and facility visitors purchased the goodies as well as breast cancer scarfs, socks and other items.
“We all have loved ones affected by cancer, and we have done this annually for four years,” said Beth Burke, admissions coordinator. “It makes us feel good!”
The sale raised $450, and the facility sent a check to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
